Oo-wee, dis shit look spooky.
I can’t tell if I’m going to like Shutter Island quite yet. Obviously the director-actor team is appealing no matter what—I would put up $10 to see Leonardo DiCaprio in Leonardo DiCaprio Paints a Fence and Pees Blood if it was shot by Scorcese. That said, while I’m into the overall look of the film, it does seem a little Cuckoo’s Nest meets Eddie Murphy’s The Haunted Mansion to me. Not to mention Ben Kings-ah, Sir Ben Kingsley’s Bond villain with a spalsh of Vincent Price seems totally nutty.
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
